The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission has published its annual data book Health Care Spending and the Medicare Program.  The book provides information on national health care and Medicare spending, Medicare beneficiary demographics, and data on dual-eligible beneficiaries, quality of care in the Medicare program, and Medicare beneficiary and other payer liabilities. Little Progress So Far on Health Inequity, Report Says

The past 20 years have seen little progress in addressing health care inequity, according to a new report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Study Finds Disparities in Medicare Advantage

The quality of care Medicare Advantage participants receive varies based on their race, gender, and ethnicity according to a new report from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Office of Minority Health. Federal Health Policy Update for May 2
