The following is the latest information from the federal government as of 2:45 p.m. on Monday, July 13. Department of Health and Human Services HHS has announced that it will distribute another $4 billion in CARES Act Provider Relief Fund money. The following is the latest information from the federal government as of 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8. Reminder:  Submit COVID-19 Case Data Hospitals interested in obtaining supplies of the drug remdesivir from the federal government must submit data on their current COVID-19 caseloads to the federal government every two weeks.  The first reporting deadline is Monday, July 6 at 8:00 p.m. (eastern).  Hospitals must submit their data through HHS’s teletracking portal. Coronavirus update for Tuesday, June 30 as of 2:30 p.m. Department of Health and Human Services An HHS spokesperson tweeted yesterday that “@HHSGov expects to renew the Public Health Emergency due to COVID-19 before it expires.” HHS announced that it has entered into an agreement to secure a supply of remdesivir, a drug used to treat COVID-19.
